Tickets NOW on Sale for ALL screenings

The Selection Committee has released their selection of films including 27 features and 85 shorts from 20 countries for screening at the 32nd Arizona International Film Festival. The Selection Committee praised the quality and diversity of the record number of films submitted this year. Congratulations filmmakers!

 

Welcome to the 32nd Arizona International Film Festival

Staying true to its mission of showcasing independent film, the Arizona International Film Festival has exhibited over 3,300 films representing 100 countries to over 176,000 patrons in southern Arizona. And now, the 32nd edition will select more exciting and innovative films from around the world for Arizona audiences.

Opening Night Celebration

Come enjoy a remarkable evening of Native American history, art and culture. Get your Tribal Force comic book signed by creator Jon Santaanta Proudstar. Be entranced with a native flute performance by award winning Tony Redhouse. Crowning the night is the film premiere of Cafe Daughter by Mohawk filmmaker, Shelley Niro.  Based on real events, a mother hides her children's Cree identity to save them from the fate of their suppressed indigenous ancestry and give them a better life. Performance 6:15-7:15 pm, Screening 7:30pm, $15 Admission.

Out-of-town visitors have a variety of choices when it comes to resting their heads after an exciting day at the Festival!  The Ramada Inn, our official Festival hotel, located on the modern streetcar line; the Downtown  Clifton with its stylish Sonoran Moderne ambiance; the Graduate Tucson with its14th-story rooftop restauarnt and pool, and the historical Hotel Congress, which housed and aided in the arrest of infamous bank robber John Dillinger,   Each hotel features discounted rates for anyone attending the Arizona International Film Festival.
